My Brother 03:03
Your time will come it'll be all right If I was to die my brother Pages alive light up wild fire Static to vibe you'll miss her And I know what you really are And I know where you really been If you're afraid then you're losing your place Come on fight through the night my brother Not what they say no they'll take it away They're flooding the gates to nowhere And you were the child that grew up for miles Come on reach for the sky my brother And I know what you really are And I know where you're going If you're afraid then you're losing your place Fight through the night My brother Why don't you just come home
2.
East & West 03:11
You shouldn't have told me The grass isn't greener Imagine what could be you're stuck in-between The east and the west end The lies and the passion This is only what you want it to be A sense of adventure With the scent of a lion Wrote down in scripture "You're just out of reach" The east and the west coast Things that you love most This is only what you want it to be east meets west coast The things, the things you love the most
3.
Fool's Gold 03:54
From rags to riches do you look at the past? Cause some things were never meant to last A hope that someone could see some good in me Cause I've got some ghosts that just won't let go of me It's the fool's gold that shines so bright With nothing worth taking he's leaving her behind The only decision he regrets in his life Always coming up fool's gold And the diamonds they never show God damn you know he puts in his time But he never knows what his time might buy And if there's nothing worth living for do we look the other way? on the other side of nothing there fool's gold and pain

Hear 05:20

She says "you can't be nothing till your heart stops beating in me" but the man in the mirror doesn't give compliments for free And a long time ago I had all these thoughts of gold Until the robbers and the thieves took everything from me But a penny on the ground The memory couldn't leave The memory couldn't leave OH she told me "We're the lucky ones, put away the silver gun for sleep" She says "You can't be nothing till your heart stops beating in me" but The man in mirror

Sitting in the passenger's seat The driver doesn't speak We drive, drive, drive, drive The lights are burying me We can hardly see We drive, drive, drive, drive And I wonder.... Have you seen these wonders? Six string sings so nice Whiskey drowns the time We drive, drive, drive, drive Chasing sun so bright Leads me to my wine We drive, drive, drive drive Montreal to Calgary Ya hit the Crow's Nest for some sleep we drive drive drive drive
8.
You're Right 04:15
It's the changing of the guard And after one night of being myself I finally get ya, get ya, now to get ya, get ya off of my back After all this time we should have figured out faster That I could get ya, get ya, now to get ya, get ya off of my back For all the nights we've been waiting for For all the nights we've been waiting There's something here like a metaphor But it's just not escaping We're gonna burn it down We're gonna burn it down We're gonna burn it down Cause it's just not escaping You're right! Oh there's nothing in it for me And you noticed And you know this better than I know myself Always in all ways I know now not to question these things After all this time we should have figured out faster That I could get ya, get ya, now to get ya, get ya off of my back Looking back on all this now You never listened You could never change my mind But god damn I know you're right
9.
Don't stay too long you won't stay in love Cause I could talk for hours and tangle our tongues Oh I got you on the run (L'amour d'état) Coming on too strong ya you know what I want Just a little bit of your love when you talk so tough Oh I got you on the run (l'amour d'état) Oh L'amour D'état We're tangled to the core It's time to sink or swim I keep begging you for more While others fight for freedom L'amour d'état
